GOLD TOKENs differ from normal tokens in that they include the deposit normally paid when an ALERT is started. AMBERresponse takes a deposit of 4 normal tokens each time you start an ALERT for every emergency contact you have associated with that ALERT. When you stop the ALERT within the specified time, your deposit tokens are refunded to your account.

The reason for this is to ensure that AMBERresponse is used responsibly such that there is an incentive to stop the ALERT and not simply let it reach its Alarm stage. With GOLD TOKENs there is no deposit taken so no deposit is returned. Once an ALERT is started with a GOLD TOKEN, it is spent. It is therefore ideal for the free trial as you can use the system and make no payment whatsoever.

In addition to the FREE TRIAL, you will also receive a FREE WELCOME PACK when you register, this contains a small user guide which you can carry with you to remind you of the various options available within the service.
